Speech Assessment & Therapy

Our speech pathologists specialise in assessing, diagnosing and treating speech delays/disorders in children. Areas of speech therapy include articulation, phonology and fluency (stuttering) disorders. We provide personalised therapy plans and goals to help target each child's individual difficulties/concerns. Our speech pathologists only use the latest evidence based practice to develop and implement effective treatment plans to help your child overcome their speech challenges.

Language & Early Language Intervention

Our speech pathology services focus on helping children improve their communication skills at a young age - setting them up for success in the future. At Sunflower Speech Pathology, we love early language intervention because research shows it gives children the best chances at overcoming their delays/difficulties and making major improvements in areas of concern.

Through personalised assessment, diagnosis and therapy, we assist clients in enhancing their specific language skills, including early language skills, play skills, non-verbal skills, receptive language, expressive language, literacy and pragmatic/social skills.

Stuttering Assessment & Therapy

Our speech pathologists are trained in assessing, diagnosing and providing evidence based treatment programs for stuttering.

We work closely with children and their parents to make sure the treatment program is closely followed and that the child's stuttering is kept under control. Our speech pathologists keep in touch during the maintenance period to check in and make sure your child doesn't relapse, or their stutter isn't getting worse.

Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC)

At Sunflower Speech Pathology, we are dedicated to helping children have the right to communicate and improve their communication skills. Our team of qualified Speech Pathologists work with children from 2-18 yrs to address their speech and language challenges.

Our team is highly skilled at assessing, trialling, recommending, writing reports to access funding through Assistive Technology (AT) requests, and making progress with proper use and implementation of the child's AAC device across all settings.

We offer personalised therapy sessions tailored to meet each child and their family's unique needs. We strive to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients every day.
